McDowell Hall was built in 1855. Between 1865 and 1943 the building was used by the Commanding Generals of the Army's Western Headquarters. Today it is the Officer's club.

A handsome house.

The same house from a slightly different angle to show the view.

BTW: Our house has the same type of asbestos tiled roof.

A large administration building. I believe that this is now the park headquarters.
