The Polar Ship FRAM

Some Norwegians built this boat to withstand the awesome pressure of the polar ice. Twelve guys sailed it into the polar ice just north of Siberia, where the boat remained wedged in the ice for three years. Eventually the boat popped out of the ice above Norway, crew and boat unscathed.
